📸 2007 – Sydney, Australia 🦘

Let’s kick things off down under! Can you spot a young Danny, our Managing Director, all the way back in 2007? This was no ordinary holiday — Danny was handpicked for an all-expenses-paid business tour in Sydney. He spent his days watching top business owners in sales and marketing, soaking up how the industry ran on the other side of the world. It wasn’t just sightseeing (though we’re sure a kangaroo or two were spotted) — it was about sharpening his personal skills, levelling up his knowledge, and proving that when you invest in people, they really can go global.

📸 2013 – Liverpool Convention

Fast-forward to 2013 and we’ve got a young, fresh-faced Jamie Ladiagan. If you don’t recognise him, he’s the guy in the middle of the photo rocking a bright blue suit — now the Managing Director of Locomotive International over in Stoke-on-Trent. Back then, he was just getting started. Today? He’s transformed from “the lad in the suit” to a business leader making big moves. Proof that with the right environment and mindset, growth can be rapid.

📸 2014 – Black Tie Dinner, London

Still looking like the “early days crew,” here’s Amy (our now Head of Administration), Jamie, and Danny. It was meant to be a black-tie dinner… but Danny clearly missed the memo and decided to stand out instead (centre of attention as usual). That night wasn’t just about fancy meals and photos though — it was about recognition. Both Danny and Amy walked away with awards for outstanding performance. A moment that showed Pure wasn’t just here to take part — we were here to win.

📸 Early Nottingham Days – The Round Table Meetings

Throwback to our office near Nottingham Castle. Picture this: it’s 8am, the sun isn’t even properly up, yet the team is wide awake, smiling and buzzing. Why? Because when you love what you do, early mornings aren’t a chore, they’re an opportunity. This round-table meeting captured the Pure mindset perfectly — any time of the day can be a time for learning, development and pushing yourself forward. Coffee helps, but it’s really the culture that fuels the energy.

📸 2018 – Summer Convention, Nottingham

A new chapter. Enter Jade, our famous Event Booker, who joined the admin team as we expanded into event marketing. This was also the “new Danny haircut” era (you’ll notice a theme here). The team attended a summer convention in Nottingham where, once again, Pure was on stage collecting awards. Danny, of course, couldn’t resist grabbing the mic and sharing words of wisdom with the crowd. 2018 was also the year Pure moved offices closer to Nottingham’s Lace Market — a fresh location for a growing team.

📸 2019 – Stoke-on-Trent Launch

Big year, big moves. Danny kept his hairstyle steady (shocking, we know), but the real highlight was Jamie and Lizzie opening Locomotive International in Stoke-on-Trent. Remember that young man in the blue suit back in 2013? By 2019 he was no longer just “the boy with potential” — he was a businessman running his own operation. Expansion wasn’t just happening in Nottingham anymore — Pure was spreading its wings.

📸 Awards Season – Natalie, Amy & Danny

2019 also saw some incredible recognition closer to home. Natalie (our wonderful, humble, ridiculously talented recruitment specialist) was celebrated for excellence in recruitment. Amy once again proved why she’s the backbone of the admin team by collecting an award for excellence in administration. And yes, Danny was there too, making sure his shelf of awards kept growing.

📸 2022 – The Year of the Ponytail

Some years are remembered for major milestones. 2022? Well… Pure will forever remember it as The Year of the Ponytail. Danny surprised everyone with a new hairstyle and proved that when it comes to reinvention, he doesn’t just talk the talk — he walks the walk (or ties the tie, in this case).

📸 2023 – Ibiza R&R

Every year Pure takes time out for a Rest & Relaxation weekend, and in 2023 the destination was sunny Ibiza. These trips are about more than beaches and cocktails — they’re a chance to reward hard work, build lasting friendships, and reset for the year ahead. It’s where business leaders recharge, sharpen their vision, and come back ready to raise the bar even higher. And speaking of leaders, this year’s trip saw Danny and Jamie side by side — once called “father and son,” but now looking more like brothers. Proof that mentorship works, and maybe that a tan takes a few years off too!

📸 2024 – Family & Football

A massive year for Danny personally and professionally. Not only did he become a grandfather to baby Noah George (who he immediately tried to induct into the “business world”), but he also learned the hard way that he’s not 18 anymore. One friendly football game with the team ended with a snapped Achilles tendon. Lesson of the year: you can mentor the next generation, but you can’t out-run them forever.

📸 2025 – Noah Takes Charge

The new year began with little Noah stepping into the office to show grandad Danny how things should really be done. Standing tall (well, as tall as a toddler can), Noah proved that leadership might just run in the family. Future MD in the making? Don’t bet against it.

📸 Summer 2025 – Wales Conference

Most recently, we gathered at the International Conference Centre in Wales for our summer rally. It was an incredible event where awards went out across every department — from administration through to sales. The energy, the recognition, and the celebrations proved what Pure has always been about: growth, opportunity, teamwork, and a culture that makes people want to step up.
